Simona Ciraolo is a children’s book author and illustrator. She grew up in Italy where she gained a degree in animation at the National Film School. She then moved to England where she worked in advertising and feature films before completing an MA in Children’s Book Illustration in Cambridge. She is based in London.
Simona has had several picture books published as author-illustrator, Hug Me (Flying Eye 2014), Whatever Happened to my Sister (Flying Eye 2015) and The Lines on Nana’s Face (Flying Eye 2016), and she has also illustrated Can’t Catch Me (Walker Books 2017), written by Timothy Knapman.
