Beth Corby

Agent: Jo Bell

Beth Corby began life in a small Welsh mining village, and pursued her interest in music through to a PhD. Finding academic writing too constrictive, she tried writing creatively and fell for comedic storytelling and fiction at the first pen stroke. She relishes time writing, daydreaming, plotting and capturing those moments when her characters misbehave.

Where There’s a Will . . . is Beth’s brilliant debut novel about Hannah, a twenty-five-year-old woman who is left an unusual bequest by an estranged great uncle to experience life in all its ups and downs.

Where There’s A Will . . . was published in May 2019 in ebook and in September 2019 it hit the mass market via paperback and audio by Hodder.

In June 2020, Where There’s A Will became The English Bookshop’s (@bookshop_se) Feelgood book of the month!

Beth’s second book, Leave It To Fate, published in November 2020 and in paperback.
