As a child Lauren’s parents say they always knew she was “a bit different,” as it turns out, she had ADHD all along! Lauren is highly creative and bursting with ideas, she has worked as an Illustrator in animation and publishing since 2009, illustrating many activity books, designing idents, and art directing a series of the hit BBC show JoJo and Gran Gran. She is now pursuing her dream of becoming an Author/ Illustrator.
Lauren has a passion for all things magical, mythical and supernatural, with a particular love of Welsh mythology. She lives in South Wales with her big beardy partner Lee and their curly-haired little boy Bran - named after Bran the Blessed, giant king of Britain, (he was a rather large baby!)
Lauren plans to create stories with heaps of heart, that represent neurodivergent characters and that have more than a sprinkling of magic!
