After working in film costume for a number of years on projects ranging from Harry Potter and Finding Neverland to Captain Corelli’s Mandolin and Star Wars, Vicci turned her hand to illustration and studied for an MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art. Her costume background heavily influenced the work she does from a research perspective and it shows through her love of detail, colour and pattern.
Vicci enjoys using monoprint and dip pen to create images which she then tweaks in Photoshop. Her first book, Queens, published in November 2020!
