Australian by nationality, Louise currently lives in beautiful Yorkshire, where she is at work on more historical fiction.
To date she has written five novels and, while technically they’re her first foray into fiction, her twenty-odd years of writing for government have given her a solid foundation in creative writing.
Louise has been longlisted and shortlisted for several novel competitions, as well as winning the 2023 Cheshire Novel Prize with Mrs P Goes To Town which will be published in 2026 by a major publisher.
