Ollie has been writing since he was 18. From early (awful) sketches at university to upcoming (hopefully better) TV projects, he is an award-winning writer for stage, screen and radio.

He is the winner of the British Comedy Guide Sitcom Competition 2022 and Soho House Hot Seat. While he has previously been nominated for the David Nobbs Memorial Comedy award, the BAFTA Rocliffe TV Comedy prize and the Liverpool Hope Playwriting prize.

He is currently under commission for three new television comedy/ dramas with The Story Collective, Esmeralda Productions and Brock Media. While also under commission by both Hampstead Theatre and Tuckshop UK for original plays.

In 2023, his original play Nightmare(ish) was broadcast on BBC Radio 4. The play was critics’ choice in The Times, The Sunday Times and The Radio Times.

He has written, directed and edited a host of award-winning comedy sketches. These sketches have appeared across BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio London and BBC Radio Essex. The sketches have recently been added to the British Comedy Guide:

His debut book, Youngest Faircrest and the Search for a Sorcerer, and two further books in the trilogy, was acquired by DK Children's in a four-way auction. The first book will be published in June 2026.

He lives in London with his partner, and is currently debating whether to get a fish – the pros out way the cons, but have you seen the price of a tank?!
