The sun is shining today as Mabel Jones sets sail on her maiden voyage to a bookshelf near you! That's right you scurvy landlubbers (lovely book readers), the fantastic children's novel from debut author Will Mabbit is published by Puffin today in the UK. We think The Unlikely Adventures of Mabel Jones is so good you'd voluntarily walk the plank to get your hands on a copy, but because we're feeling nice today, we've popped a little sneak peek of the story below for you to read.
When Mabel Jones unknowingly commits ‘The Deed’ she finds herself swiftly bundled into a sack by Omynus Hussh the silent loris, and carried off to the pirate ship the Feroshus Maggot.
