Nevermind the Oscars, it's children's book award season here in the Bell Lomax Moreton office! We're delighted to announce that Where Bear? by Sophy Henn and The Sea Tiger by Vic Turnbull have both been nominated for the Best Illustrated Book category in the Waterstones Children's Book Prize 2015! We're incredibly proud of Sophy and Vic and their beautiful books that are already both winners in our eyes! Across the pond, Oliver Jeffers and Drew Daywalt have won the 2015 Texas Bluebonnet Award for The Day The Crayons Quit - you can take a look at Oliver's acceptance speech here Huge congratulations are also in order for Chris Haughton, who has won the Ezra Jack Keats Book Award for New Illustrator with his wonderful Shh! We Have A Plan.
