Charles Spicer is a Suffolk-based historian with an MA from the University of Cambridge and a PhD from the University of London. Following a thirty year career in business, when not writing he sits on public company and charitable boards.

Coffee With Hitler is his first book and is based on eight years of painstaking research among letters, intelligence reports, membership lists, and other primary sources, many of which have been lost or overlooked by historians for the past eighty years. Coffee with Hitler was published by Oneworld in the UK and Pegasus in the USA in September 2022.
