Nell is a London-born student currently reading Biology at the University of Manchester. She spends her time at university trying to work anime and sci-fi into essays, attempting to infiltrate her way into the drama department and figuring out just what she to do upon finishing her studies.
In the summer of 2020, she co-founded Impact of Omission, an organisation that advocates for the decolonisation of the curriculum in UK schools. After a successful survey and petition, Impact of Omission was invited to speak at a parliamentary hearing, chair a panel at an education convention and partake in a number of interviews across many different platforms. Nell is looking forward to seeing what changes Impact of Omission can continue to make in 2021.
