Picture Books

Meg graduated from the MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art in 2013, and has since returned to her native Scotland, to Inverness, where she is attempting to rebuild her natural Scots’ resolve against the cold…

When she is not focussed on this formidable task, Meg is an illustrator, picture book maker and printer, creating a range of irresistible characters and settings. Meg has a fantastic flair for the humorous and quirky, brought to life with an exhilarating eye for detail and technique.

Her debut picture book Life is Magic was published in March 2016, followed by Pigeon P. I. in March 2017, and The Station Mouse, in June 2018, all with Andersen Press. Her most recent project was a picture book adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s classic The Wizard of Oz, with text by Sam Hay, which was published by Egmont in late 2018.
