Rose Grover is a British illustrator based in Brighton, UK. She graduated with a Masters in Children's Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art in 2024 with a distinction. Rose's work was Highly Commended in the Macmillan Prize for Illustration 2023 and Shortlisted for the Batsford Prize 2024.

Rose discovered a passion for drawing from observation during her studies and uses this practice as inspiration to create warm and familiar scenes. Inspired by daily life, people, and her own childhood, Rose loves finding innocence and humour in daily interactions. She particularly loves drawing strong, young, female characters expressing powerful emotions.

Rose also works as a graphic scriber and has a background in teaching and delivering workshops to all ages, believing that everyone can be an artist if they switch off their adult brain for a bit. When she isn't drawing the locals or experimenting with materials, Rose is often found playing football badly, experimenting in the kitchen while cooking delicious vegan food, looking for faces in rocks on the beach, swimming in the sea, or hiking the South Downs Way.
