Picture Books

Aysha Tengiz was born in Brighton and grew up between an island on the Aegean coast of Turkey and a small market town in the English countryside. She now lives in south London, working in a studio under the old railway arches.

Tengiz enjoys working with bold colours and an array of anthropomorphised characters to create vibrant and playful illustrations. Her first picture book “Baboo the Unusual Bee” was published September 2023.  

Aysha is currently working on her portfolio.
