  10th Anniversary Edition of The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas wins at ABCD awards

We are delighted to see that the 10th Anniversary Collector's Edition of The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas has won best cover design (Children's Category) at The Academy of British Cover Design Awards. John Boyne’s modern classic has been given a stunning new cover by Oliver Jeffers, who has illustrated the book throughout with striking and poignant images, and this new edition is sure to both move and enthral new readers and long-time fans. Published by Doubleday Children's for Penguin Random House, the cover designer was Dominica Clements and the art director was Anna Billson. This is the fourth year of the ABCD awards run by freelance designers Jamie Keenan and Jon Gray, and you can read more about the covers nominated and the winners in The Bookseller and the ABCD website. Oliver was also shortlisted for his collaboration with Sam Winston on the beautiful picture book, A Child of Books, published by Walker.
