We are delighted to announce that Jo Bell has sold world English rights for four books by Heather Burnside to Commissioning editor Hannah Todd at Aria!

The first book in the deal, Candice, is out in ebook and audio in August 2022, followed by a paperback in October 2022. Candice is a spin-off from the five-book Working Girls series, which concludes with Sapphire (January 2022). The new deal also covers three standalone gangland thrillers.

Burnside's books are inspired by her teenage years on a tough Manchester estate.

Burnside has said:

I'm thrilled to be working with Aria again and to be a part of all their exciting future plans. They are such a hard-working, proactive and enthusiastic team. I can't wait to share Candice with my readers and to develop my ideas for the standalone novels. It's also great to be working with the lovely and very approachable Jo Bell at Bell Lomax Moreton.
