Atlas of Animal Adventures shortlisted for the Edward Stanford Travel Writing Awards

We are delighted to see Atlas of Animal Adventures, illustrated by Lucy Letherland and written by Rachel Williams and Emily Hawkins, shortlisted for the Edward Stanford Travel Writing Awards in the National Book Tokens Children's Travel Book of the Year category.

The Edward Stanford Travel Writing Awards exist to celebrate this most exciting of genres and encourage more travellers to put down their selfie-sticks and pick up their notebooks.
The Children's Travel Book of the Year is awarded to a "fiction or non-fiction title for pre-teens which inspires a love of travel, exploration and adventure." Published by Wide Eyed Editions, Atlas of Animal Adventures is a stunning insight into the adventures of animals across the globe, from fungus-farming ants in Bolivia to roosting fruit bats in Zambia and parading peacocks in India. We are keeping our fingers crossed for the results which will be announced at a live gala event on the 2nd of February 2017, and we wish the best of luck to all the shortlisted books.
