Author of Editing Emma, Chloe Seager will be collaborating with Roman Kemp and Vick Hope, DJs on Capital FM’s Breakfast Show, on a new middle-grade fiction title called Listen Up, to be published by Scholastic!
Listen Up follows two groups of school friends who host rival radio shows. When a school trophy goes missing, the groups spot an opportunity for one of them to come out on top. But the plan is not as simple as they might have thought.
Publisher Samantha Smith and commissioning editor Fiz Osborne acquired world rights. The book will be illustrated by Jason Cockroft and published in September.
Smith said: “It’ll be no surprise to any of their listeners that Roman Kemp and Vick Hope have their finger on the pulse of what kids today are talking about. We cannot wait for them to bring their unique blend of banter and brilliance to the kids everywhere and look forward to this must-listen morning pair becoming a must-read duo.”
