Happy publication day to The New Adventures of Mr Toad: Toad Hall in Lockdown

We are delighted to see publication of the toad-ally brilliant The New Adventures of Mr Toad: Toad Hall in Lockdown, written by Tom Moorhouse and illustrated by Holly Swain.

Mr Toad has the builders in, and they're busy filling Toad Hall with awesome gizmos and gadgets: even a machine to fry eggs. But there's something odd about them: why don't their bushy tails look quite right? And why are they loading Mr Toad's furniture into their van? Squirrel skulduggery! Greedy weasels! Mr Toad will need help from Teejay, Ratty and Mo to have a remote chance of defending his home. Can he keep his property safe, or will he suffer the Toad Hall Lockdown?
This is the second book in the super-fun middle grade series which reboots the classic Toad of Toad Hall tales. Holly's gorgeous illustrations brilliantly complement Tom's joyous text to create a fabulously amphibious adventure for the 21st century. Published by Oxford University Press, you can buy your very own copy here ...
