Here We Are At The Top Of The Charts

Here We Are, the utterly heartfelt new book from Oliver Jeffers, has climbed the charts to success in its first two weeks of release. For the week ending Sunday November 19th, Here We Are was the number one children's illustrated book on the US Indie Bestseller List, and it also hit the top spot in the New York Time Children's Best Sellers Picture Books list. Here We Are has also been named one of the top 10 children's books of 2017 by TIME, and reached number 7 in the Bookseller's pre-school and picture book chart. The book is a collection of Oliver's notes for living on Planet Earth, originally written for his own son, and now expanded for the enjoyment of readers of all ages.

Well, hello. And welcome to this Planet. We call it Earth. Our world can be a bewildering place, especially if you’ve only just got here. Your head will be filled with questions, so let’s explore what makes our planet and how we live on it. From land and sky, to people and time, these notes can be your guide and start you on your journey. And you’ll figure lots of things out for yourself. Just remember to leave notes for everyone else… Some things about our planet are pretty complicated, but things can be simple, too: you’ve just got to be kind.
