Sizzling summer reads from our authors!

We're delighted to see that Alex Latimer, Megan Brewis and Will Mabbitt are all named in the top 100 books to read this summer by the Daily Mail! Alex Latimer's charming picture book Am I Yours? is selected as a 'heart-warming story about belonging and community', as well as helping to teach readers of all ages about dinosaurs.

'Excuse me, please, but am I yours? I'm sure I am a dinosaur's!' When an icy wind pushes an egg from its nest, five friendly dinosaurs must get it home before dark. But who does the lost egg belong to? And will they figure it out in time?
Will Mabbitt's middle grade fiction adventure Embassy of the Dead is chosen for its 'irreverent wit' and 'huge fun with perfect pictures'. What more can you say for this thrilling middle grade read!
When Jake opens a strange box containing a severed finger, he accidentally summons a grim reaper to drag him to the Eternal Void (yep, it's as fatal as it sounds) and now he's running for his life! But luckily Jake isn't alone - he can see and speak to ghosts. Jake and his deadly gang (well dead, at least) - Stiffkey the undertaker, hockey stick-wielding, Cora, and Zorro the ghost fox - have one mission: find the Embassy of the Dead and seek protection. But the Embassy has troubles of its own and may not be the safe haven Jake is hoping for . . .
Megan Brewis' fantastic and funny picture book Steve, Terror of the Seas is selected as the 'If you can only pack one...' choice for its 'stylish illustrations and pages packed with facts . . . a total delight.'
The almost true story of Steve, the very scary fish. Steve is not very big. His teeth aren't very sharp. And though he's no angelfish, there are far scarier creatures in the sea. So why is everyone so frightened of Steve?
