We are thrilled to announce that Lauren Gardner sold World rights for two books by Northern Irish debut author and Penguin WriteNow alumnus Jenny Ireland to publishing director Ruth Knowles and editor Sara Jafari at Penguin!
The first book will be out in May 2023, The First Move is “an enemies-to-lovers YA romance that will break your heart and put it back together again, featuring a ‘Sex Education’-style representative cast, and a will-they-won’t-they romance begun on an online chess app”.
