Erica is a former fashion editor, who once created the fashion pages for the UK’s biggest-selling newspapers and magazines. She was Fleet Street’s youngest ever fashion editor, heading up the team at The Sun newspaper when she was 24.
She started writing her blog the-edited.com during her second maternity leave, creating a digital space related to her career, in order to satisfy her creative juices while at home with her two young children.
She has spent years creating fashion pages, writing stories, travelling around the world on shoots, styling books, appearing as a style expert on TV and radio and even created her own collections for major high street fashion brands.
Erica’s debut, Leopard is a Neutral: A Really Useful Style Guide, the ultimate confidence-boosting style guide, was published by Yellow Kite in September 2020.
Praise for Erica:
‘This book is as amiable, relatable and stylish as Erica herself. Crammed with useful tips and advice, it’s a treasure trove of the best brands, inspired styling ideas and fashion editor insider knowledge (like how to ‘scan’ the shops). Best of all it gives you the confidence to break the ‘style rules’ and instead, carve out your own. Bravo!’ - Sarah Tomczak, Editor, Red
‘A brilliant style guide.’ - Candice Brathwaite
‘Erica is one of those women who radiates joy and makes you feel good about yourself, so of course this book offers the same sentiment (along with some amazing style tips), I loved it.’ - Alex Stedman, The Frugality
