Agent: Lorna HemingwaySummer is a Hampshire writer who loves to write books about family, friendship and animals to make children smile and laugh. She loves to escape with a character into their reality and join them on their adventures.
Summer is an unabashed giggler, happiest when laughing with friends and family, cuddling with her cheeky cat and happy hamster, getting lost in a book and walking in woodlands.
After graduating from Southampton Solent University with a degree in Journalism, Summer worked for ten years telling other people’s stories as a PR and communications professional. But she wanted to chase her dream of writing her own stories and sharing them with the world.
Diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of two and more recently with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Summer is the epitome of positivity and lives by the motto that anyone can do anything they set their mind to and work hard at and that if you believe it, you can achieve it.
Summer is the competition manager for Hampshire Writers' Society and an active member of SCWBI_BI.
