Julian was an avid doodler during his younger years but never really continued as he got older. That said, a few years ago he picked up a pencil once again, albeit this time an Apple Pencil and has been drawing daily ever since. Julian is a self-taught illustrator who enjoys discovering new characters from within and bringing them to life on the page
He loves to be inspired by everyday life and particularly enjoys illustrating animals. Julian works predominantly digitally and describes his work as a mix of fun, cute and sometimes quirky.
When not illustrating, Julian enjoys listening to podcasts, cooking, and spending time with his family. He lives in Lincolnshire with his wife, son (eldest two daughters have flown the nest) and pet dog Kipper, AKA Mr. Kipling.
