Jessica Gilmore has written over 30 published books. After starting her career with Waterstones, she spent several years in marketing before moving into fundraising for first an environmental charity and then a university before fulfilling a lifelong ambition and working in the arts. She recently moved to the Chilterns from York, where she mostly complains about her commute, dog walks, pretends not to be addicted to reality television and writes.

Jessica’s books include Love on the Island (Orion, July 2023) and Falling For You (Tule, Feb 2017, originally Baking for Keeps) which was turned into a Hallmark movie with the same name. She has also written nearly thirty category romance books for Harlequin Mills & Boon, her recent release, Christmas with his Ballerina (Nov 2022), was nominated for RNA Best Festive Romance. Her new book Love At First Sight will be published by Orion in 2024.
