Justine Hardy is the author of six books, both fiction and non-fiction, all of which draw on the thirty years that she has spent living and working in India, particularly in the tragic and beautiful Kashmir Valley. Three have been serialized on BBC Radio 4. During this time Justine trained as a trauma therapist, then founded and ran a free integrated mental health organisation, working on a model that enables people to control their recovery without being dependent on medication. Justine’s titles include the UK bestseller ‘Bollywood Boy’ and ‘In the Valley of Mist’. Justine continues to write, practice and teach in India, the US and UK.
