Sarah J. Daley is a former chef who lives and writes in the Chicago Metropolitan area with her husband, son and very fat cat. She earned a degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and dabbled among flowers and trees for a time before she followed a passion for food into the culinary arts. Her experience with sharp knives, tattooed cooks and orchestrated chaos comes through in her writing. Her debut novel Obsidian is a twisted tale of bloodmagic, gemstone blades, and wizards inked with glorious tattoos.
