Despite the Crayons’ grumpiness, illustrator Oliver Jeffers  is excited to be putting crayon to paper again!

“Even more fun than drawing with crayons is drawing crayons themselves... with crayons,” said the illustrator. “Apparently one book did not quench my appetite for this activity. This time I get to use even more crayons from the crayon box. Some weird ones too!” Oliver Jeffers

Even Hollywood is sitting up and taking notice of the Crayons' plight, with Universal Pictures recently announcing a preemptive acquisition of the film rights to The Day the Crayons Quit, with Madhouse Entertainment to produce and Matt Lopez set to script! We can't wait to see what the future has in store for readers everywhere, when those pesky crayons finally come home!
