We are delighted that Will Mabbitt's The Unlikely Adventures of Mabel Jones, illustrated by Ross Collins, has been shortlisted for the Bradford Boase Award! Now in its 16th year, the BBA is the only children's book prize to reward the talents of the editor as well as the writer. So we are doubly excited for Will Mabbitt and superstar editor Ben Horslen, who has been nominated for two books this year. Here's what BBA chair of judges had to say:
