Haaniyah Angus

Haaniyah Angus is a digital culture writer, screenwriter and founder / former Editor in Chief of Off Colour Org.

Growing up with an English teacher as a father and with an avid love for reading, Haaniyah always wanted to write even about the small things. At 17 she founded Off Colour Org (Formerly known as NPOC) a non profit publication dedicated to representation and diversity in media. After leaving the publication in 2019, she began to write freelance for publications such as VICE, NYLON, Vulture and PAPER MAG whilst studying at Oxford Brooke for her BA (Hons) in Communications, Media and Culture with Film Studies. Now a post graduate Haaniyah has been published by Penguin in their anthology series Black Joy (2021).
