Ana María is a Designer and Illustrator born in Bogotá, Colombia. She developed an early fascination with art and creativity within the vibrant and enchanting narratives of her hometown.

She pursued her passion by studying Design and Fine Arts at Los Andes University, where she refined her skills in visual communication. Eager to explore further into the world of illustration and storytelling, Ana María pursued a Master's degree in Children's Book Illustration at Goldsmiths University of London.

In her career, Ana María seamlessly blends her love for images and storytelling to create intricate worlds filled with characters and strong narratives. Her work centers on children's literature, exploring everyday life through imagination and emotions. She often uses mixed media, incorporating a variety of textures, colours and playful lines.
