Picture Books

Toby Rampton is a British illustrator based in Cambridge, UK. He graduated with a Masters in Children’s Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art in 2024 with a distinction, and he was selected as a winner in the 58th Bologna Children’s Book Fair Exhibition.

He has 10 years’ experience as an illustrator, working with giftware companies, magazines, environmental art installations and printmaking workshops. Some of his clients include NHS UK, Art Angels, Anorak, Storytime and Bookblock. Alongside commissions, Toby is also a printmaker who stocks various shops in the UK and exhibits his screen prints in Europe and Asia.

Toby finds inspiration in the everyday and has a passion for creating energetic and playful illustrations with limited colours, graphic shapes, and organic lines. He has an eye for bold design and simplicity.
